DKZ.2R@ Data-Science-Community Workshop INFORMATIK

On the 26th of September the DKZ.2R took part in the “Data-Science-Community Workshop” at the INFORMATIK festival at Hochschule Rhein-Main in Wiesbaden. The Workshop was organised by the Data-Science center and included short presentations about different Data-Science projects and initiatives in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as poster sessions. In the interactive discussion part we discussed what are the main topics for data-science-initiatvies, how the organisation and networking could be improved, and which activities are suitable for collaborations between the different projects and initiatives. Overall the workshop was a great experience not only to connect with other data-science initiatives in german-speaking countries but also because we gained a better overview of existing projects, and talked about concrete options to connect and collaborate.
