DKZ.2R collaborations - Project funding "SchwarmMessRad"

Project “SchwarmMessRad” Funding Approval: A New Step Forward for DKZ.2R Collaboration

We are thrilled to announce that the research proposal “SchwarmMessRad” has officially been approved for funding. The project, coordinated by Dr.-Ing Nils Lichtenberg, aims to explore innovative approaches to distributed data collection using sensor-equipped bicycles — a concept that aligns closely with DKZ.2R’s mission to foster cutting-edge, data-driven research.

Nils Lichtenberg was a participant in the first-ever DKZ.2R Data Competence College, where he already presented the concept for this exciting research initiative. With the project now funded, he plans to make use of the DKZ.2R Rent-an-Expert system, leveraging the network’s expertise to support the technical and analytical aspects of the work.

“SchwarmMessRad” not only exemplifies the type of interdisciplinary thinking DKZ.2R aims to cultivate, but also showcases how early engagement with our programs can lead to impactful research collaborations. We look forward to supporting this project and following its progress closely.

Stay tuned for more updates as the project gets rolling!
