Hamed Hemati

Hamed Hemati is a researcher at the IAS-9 Institute of Forschungszentrum Jülich and a scientific consultant at DKZ.2R. He earned his PhD from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, where his research focused on adaptive continual learning algorithms. Earlier, he completed his master thesis with the computer vision group at the University of Bern.
Before joining Forschungszentrum Jülich, Hamed worked as a machine learning specialist at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, where he developed ML-based solutions for satellite image analysis. Over his career, he has contributed to projects in a range of domains, including image perception, speech synthesis, time-series analysis, financial data, and hyperspectral data.
