Lukas C. Bossert has a background in classical archaeology. He earned his PhD from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2018. Following stints as Data Steward in two Collaborative Research Centers, he currently serves as Deputy Head of the department “Research Process & Data Management” at RWTH Aachen University’s IT Center. Throughout his academic and professional journey, Lukas has demonstrated a unique blend of expertise in classical archaeology, research data management, and interdisciplinarity. His PhD thesis on ephemeral architecture in public places showcased his ability to bridge the gap between archaeological theory and practical applications. As Deputy Head of the department “Research Process & Data Management”, Lukas brings his extensive experience as a researcher and academic administrator to ensure seamless collaboration among researchers, data managers, and IT professionals. His expertise in research data management has been recognized through various publications and presentations at international conferences.
With his experience in classical archaeology and interdisciplinarity, Lukas is well-equipped to navigate complex research projects and facilitate effective communication among team members from diverse backgrounds.
