On Monday, September 7, this hands-on workshop provides a practical introduction to using Python effectively in HPC environments and equips participants with the knowledge needed to develop, run, and optimize Python workflows on modern computing clusters.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- Overview of key Python frameworks: Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Pytorch, Tensorflow
- Python performance fundamentals
- Introduction to pip and Conda
- Using pip and Conda on HPC clusters
- Working with GPUs and other system resources
- Parallel computing with Python
